HOME SCHOOL STEAM GROUP
The Home School STEAM Group is geared toward age 7 to 10 and aims to connect young learners with meaningful, hands-on experiences that expose them to scientific concepts, supports creativity and skill building, and enhances their understanding of related vocabulary. Each week, families can expect to receive a re-cap of what we've learned to help reinforce the concepts at home.
This program meets on THURSDAYS, from 9:45am to 12pm.
Masks are recommended and we do not pause for snack time (though a water bottle is suggested).

As the weather warms, we begin spending time outside and shift to one of Ms. Carmen's favorite topics: biology! We focus on the classification of living things and their amazing adaptations. We spend time with our backyard chickens and learn more about birds in general. Young scientists will help establish and care for our outdoor gardens and learn more about the different living things that can be found at the Kiddie Science Lab and beyond.
The Kiddie Science Lab is located at 509 Rogers Avenue, door on the right.
